Cyanotypes
Cyanotype is a printing process that gives a cyan colour print, by mixing two chemical ( Ammonium iron citrate and Potassium ferricyanide) in a surface such as paper, exposing this surface with the chemicals to the sunlight and wet the surface.
This was first invented by William Henry Fox Talbot and he kept his findings largely private. Anna Atkins used this technique to record images of all the plants that she could get. Atkins was supported by her father, who was the keeper of the Department of Natural History Modern Curiosities. Atkins had a enormous access to botanic knowledge.
Cyanotype Version 1In my first picture I used different objects that I had in my pocket and another objects such as films, magnifying glass and string. I also played with the position of the sun and the grass to add some natural objects. I tried to represent the standard life in the middle of the nature.

Cyanotype Version 2In my second picture I used really light objects and not many of them such as feathers, needles, a leaf and a switch.I really liked the composition of the different objects in the image. In this image I try to represent lightness.
